Zombies invade Athens

Tylar Carver, a self-taught makeup artist, applies zombie makeup to Derek Wells Saturday, April 23, 2011 during filming for A Plague So Pleasant, an independent zombie film being made by Athenians in Athens. Carver uses her own recipe of liquid latex, makeup, toilet paper and fake blood to create wounds. The directors quit their jobs in January 2011 to work exclusively on the film and the actors and artists are volunteers. (Kelly Wegel/ Correspondent/kelly.wegel@onlineathens.com)
